Half way to St. Patrick’s Day is September 17. Quigley’s celebrates 20 years on November 17! Create a new slogan for Quigley’s Irish Pub by September 19…
Now through September 19, individuals are welcome to come up with a new slogan to help Quigley’s Irish Pub celebrate its 20th year during day-long festivities with live music on Sat., November 17. The winning slogan will be emblazoned on commemorative t-shirts. Forms to enter are available at Quigley’s Irish Pub, 43 E. Jefferson Ave.
Simply stop by the pub and ask the bartender for a form. Or create your own form, complete with name and contact info including email, along with the slogan and drop it off at Quigley’s. Entries must be submitted by September 19, 2018.
The individual with the winning slogan will receive two t-shirts and a $50 gift card for Quigley’s.
Meanwhile, open during regular business hours, Sunday through Saturday, regulars enjoy specials at Naperville’s original Irish pub EDAQ (Every Day at Quigley’s) located at 43 E. Jefferson Avenue in downtown Naperville. Breakfast is served Saturday and Sunday. Monday is $5 Burger Night when you can build your own burger with toppings. Groundbreaking for Jaycees Park along the Riverwalk
Tuesday, September 18 / Mayor Steve Chirico and the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce will join together with government partners, project supporters and members of our community to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Naperville Jaycees Park. The ceremony will take place at 5PM Tuesday, September 18, at the site of the future smart park that will be located on the north lawn behind the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle Street. (The lawn is that area along the DuPage River just over the covered bridge at Webster Street.)

Annual Casa de Luz Charity Event in the Pavilion at Meson Sabika

Turning Pointe Birdhouse Show & Sale

Birdhouses of all colors, shapes, and sizes designed and durably handcrafted by local craftsman and bird-lover Marcia Lamoureux as well as Turning Pointe Students. In addition to loving birds, Lamoureux is a champion for students with autism. By involving students in the creation of these beautiful birdhouses, she is helping them gain access to a meaningful job.

Little Friends Respite Program, Wednesday Evenings, beginning September 26
Facilitated with Respite Endowment Organization, Little Friend’s Respite Opportunities program offers multi-week sessions for children with special needs and their siblings, ages 5-12, featuring indoor and outdoor activities and socialization opportunities. A lead instructor along with volunteers and a Certified Nursing Assistant at every session will lead participants in structured activity stations, art projects, as well as gross and find motor play.
